Join the Ohio University Astronomy faculty for a walk into the Cosmos. Star Walks offer a naked-eye tour of the Universe, from our celestial backyard to galaxies millions of light-years away, along with an inspiring nighttime hike.

Star Walks are held monthly in the Spring and Fall, departing from the front of the Kennedy Museum of American Art, located in Lin Hall at The Ridges in Athens. Walks take from 1 to 2 hours, and cover a distance of about 2 miles.

NEXT WALK: Friday, March 7, 2008, 7:30 - 9:30 p.m.

These events are free and open to the public. Call M. Sharma (740-593-1710) or M. Böttcher (740-593-1714) for more information.
