Postdoctoral Scientist Position

A postdoctoral scientist position is available in Hla group at Ohio University to work in Molecular Spintronic research area under the recent NSF-PIRE grant. The researcher will actively involve in a collaborative research with the Prof. Roland Wiesendanger group in University of Hamburg, Germany. I am looking for a person with a strong motivation and dedication in research. Any interested candidate with a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science & Engineering, Electronic Engineering or an ally discipline with an experience in Scanning Tunneling Microscopy/Spectroscopy, single atom/molecule manipulation, UHV and low temperature instrumentation should send inquires to Prof. Saw-Wai Hla (hla@ohio.edu). Because of the occasional travel requirement to Germany, preference will be given to US citizens and permanent residence. The position is for two years (one year + one year extension) and is opened until filled.
