The Department of Physics and Astronomy provides access to a wide range of scholarly materials, such as books and journals. One of our local resources is the Huwe Reading Room (Clippinger Rm 253). The Huwe Reading Room has a substantial selection of physics and astronomy books. Most, if not all of these books are now in a catalog, you can presently be downloaded as text or pdf file: If you check out a book, please leave your name on the notepad or the board in the room or send mail to

who is tending the library. He will also help you locating a book if you do not find it.
Recently, we have also ordered a number of new books for Physics and Astronomy which are housed in Alden Library. While not all of = those have been received yet, many of them have. Here are links to lists of these new books:
