About Us

The Biomimetic Nanoscience and Nanoscale Technology (BNNT) is a multidisciplinary collaboration initiative with researchers from the Departments of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Physics and Astronomy, and Biological Sciences in the College of Liberal Arts and Science and the Russ College of Engineering Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Ohio University.

The goals of the BNNT program are to understand the interactions among nanoscale materials, and to design and control the architectures of functional system that are made of these nano building blocks with intentions of applications towards medical diagnostics. Through an integrated effort of research and education, the BNNT program aims at inspiring and training more people in the fast-developing field of nanoscience and nanotechnology.
