Research Interests:

Intermediate energy nuclear reactions and scattering processes focusing on:

• Fundamental symmetry investigations via high precision measurements and polarization phenomena
  • A search for new physics via a measurement of the proton's weak charge, Q^P_W=1 - 4(sin theta_W)², at low momentum transfer, and consequently a high precision measurement of the running of the weak mixing angle. ( JLab Qweak experiment).

  • Charge Symmetry Breaking in nucleon-nucleon interactions:
    • Measurement of the forward-backward asymmetry in near threshold (cospokesperson, E704 at TRIUMF).
