Alex is a Junior currently studying Meteorology at Ohio University. He is from Cincinnati Ohio and graduated at Turpin high school in 2011. Originally he attended NKU for Media Informatics, but the first week of classes realized this was not the career life suited for him and began exploring different options. Because of this he took mainly basic courses pertaining to his one love, Science. At first he wanted to pursue Astronomy, but realized that Astronomy was a hobby/interest that he enjoyed more exploring by himself, and could still do outside of another Career choice. As a little kid Alex would take any chances he could get when given a project/presentation and make it about weather. More in particular his love for Tornadoes and Severe Thunderstorms. After deciding Meteorology was his passion from the start of elementary school, he decided to transfer schools to OU for Geography-Meteorology. He is apart of the OUCAMs, WxChallenge, and is the Forecasting Intern for Scalia Lab. He likes to be outdoors as much as possible to enjoy the weather, hike and camp. After graduating at OU he plans to work as a forecaster in the NWS and/or at a Private Sector.
